1. Data Collection Scope (Minimization Principle)
PartyDeck strictly observes privacy minimization for Discord Activities and processes only essential Discord profile metadata required during active gameplay:
- Discord User ID: Used to differentiate room participants and resolve millisecond buzzer button presses.
- Discord Display Name / Nickname: Displayed on in-room scoreboards and player seats.
- Discord Avatar URL: Used to render participant icons in the multiplayer seat bar.
- Voice Activity Detection: Evaluated locally on the client to indicate speaking status; no audio is recorded or stored.
2. Zero Audio Recording & Ephemeral State Guarantee
PartyDeck does not eavesdrop, record, store, or transmit any voice conversations or text chats from your voice channel. All game state updates (buzzer timestamps, spin angles) are processed ephemerally in Cloudflare edge memory and discarded upon session close.
3. Local Storage & Client Preferences
PartyDeck utilizes local browser storage (localStorage) strictly to remember client language selection and volume levels. No data is shared with external analytics or marketing platforms.
4. User Rights & Data Purge
Because PartyDeck maintains no persistent user profiles or account databases, closing the Activity session automatically terminates and purges all live session data.
